P-51D Mustang
Radio-Controlled Airplane Project

This project aims to build a radio-controlled scale replica of a North American P-51D Mustang. It will employ foam-core fiberglass wings and will begin with flight testing of the wing using a simple fuselage that is nothing more than a profile of the plane cut out of plywood. Design and construction will rely on plans by Stephen Scotto that are in 1/6th scale and result in a wingspan of seventy-four inches. |
